Rozen Maiden Episode 2

Another doll named Hina Ichigo lives with a girl named Tomoe (who happens to be the class rep for Jun's class). Hina is an extremely bossy and clingy doll due to her former owner's abandonment, so she always wants Tomoe to be around and play with her. Tomoe stops by Jun's house on her way home from school to drop off some stuff from his school (since he no longer attends class). We see that something must've happened in his class to make him stop going to school, tho he seemed happy there at one time.

When Tomoe gets home, Hina is upset because she was late and drags her into a weird world through a mirror with toys and candy and makes Tomoe look just like herself (kinda cute and scary at the same time). Anyways, Shinku had seen Tomoe's ring while she was at Jun's and had Holie (the spirit in her case) go investigate. Shinku has Nori show her a weird mirror that is in their storage area, and Shinku goes thru it into the other world. She confronts Hina and tells her she wants to play the "Alice" game with her (which apparently involves a doll taking away another doll's "Rosa Mystica" which allows them to move and talk), but Shinku's energy is halved because Jun is not there, and Hina is able to tie her up in vines. However, Tomoe is severely weakened and Shinku tells Hina that Tomoe will die if she does not take away her rose ring, which she does.

Hina is now Shinku's servant and goes to live with her, as well as Jun and Nori of course, which Jun is not thrilled about, but Nori seems to think Hina is adorable. =)

----

I'm really starting to like this series, this second episode was more exciting than the first. I thought Hina was very good as the adorable, yet scarily obsessive doll, and Shinku is just so funny the way she is so proper, but gets very flustered once in awhile. Looks like there will be another doll in the next ep...

Tsukuyomi ~ Moon Phase ~ Episode 4

Kouhei's grandfather lets Hazuki stay at the house on the condition that she help clean and work at the store that he owns (and apparently she's a very good salesman)... oh and that she has to wear the cat ears. The full moon finally comes and Hazuki begins to thirst for blood again. She attempts to get some more from Kouhei, but he of course refuses, so she goes out to find a new slave. Kouhei chases after her just in time to push a guy Hazuki found into a fountain, who then comes back with his friends and proceed to beat Kouhei senseless. This causes Hazuki to summon her power which alerts the blonde-haired girl who had been following her to finally appear...

---

I loved in this episode when Kouhei offered Hazuki the tomato juice and she poured it out! Kinda reminded me of Gabriel from Tennimon, when he was drinking the tomato juice and came across Mimiru (apparently tomato juice is a common substitute for blood?).

Mai-HiME Episode 4

Panties and bras start vanishing from the girls' locker room, and a little gremlin-like Orphan is to blame. Natsuki is the victim of one such incident, and goes on a mission to find out who the culprit is. Upon baiting and finding the Orphan, she discovers there are many of them and they combine into a giant tentacle monster Orphan! Mai and Mikoto defeat the monster, but all of the underwear has been destroyed...

---

Wow, this was a hilarious episode. Not only was the humor great, but the music really stood out in this episode as well. Even tho it was mostly a filler episode, I hope they have more of this kind of stuff down the road...

Tactics Episode 2

Kan and Haruka go to visit a courtesean that has been possessed by her former lover that died in a fire and rid her (mostly) of his evil spirit. Ummm.. that's about it! (yes it is more intricate than that, but that sums it up basically).

----

Another good episode! They did inject more humor at the beginning of this episode, which I was happy about. I'm wondering if there's really an actual plot that's going to develop, or if each episode is just going to be a new assignment for them. I know Loki was kinda like that in the beginning and developed the plot along the way, so I hope that happens here as well. But even if it doesn't, it's okay cause this show is just fun to look at either way =).

Yakitate!! Ja-pan Episode 2

Kazuma arrives at the Pantasia main store just in time to get deductions for being late as well as for his messy hair. Tsukino helps out by giving him her headband (very cute!). Kazuma meets Kowachi, who explains to him the importance of working at Pantasia, but all Kazuma cares about is developing his next "Ja-pan". Everyone is asked to make the bread of their choice and Kazuma decides to make Japan #56. Unfortunately, Kowachi decides to sabotage him by making him trip and drop the dough and then Kowachi purposely slips in the dough, ruining it. Kazuma makes a change of plans and makes Japan #16 instead which is a cool Mt. Fuji looking bread that apparently tastes delicious and is very good with curry (Kazuma for some reason thought curry was a Japanese food... lol). So only Kazuma, Kowachi, Tsukino, and a few others make it on to the next round, which is to cook a croissant. Kazuma now wonders who Kurowa-san is... (croissant is pronounced kurowasaan in Japanese).

----

I definetly enjoyed this episode more than the first (could be cause I watched the first raw, but I read the manga!), it was pretty fun and interesting. It's just funny to see the banter between Kazuma who knows nothing about the technical aspect of baking bread (ie. he thinks everything he makes is Ja-pan, but they're actually other types of bread) and Kowachi, who is pretty much an expert and does everything by the book.

Rozen Maiden Episode 1

Story:

Jun is a young boy who loves to collect miscellaneous junk, mostly stuff that has to do with curses and voodoo. Whatever he doesn't like, he sends back to get his money back. Of course he makes his poor sister, Nori, do everything for him while he confines himself to his room ordering things off the internet, not even leaving to eat dinner with her. One day he gets a strange box that appears on his floor (due to a letter he was told to place in his desk drawer) and inside is a strange wind-up doll. He winds her up and she comes to life and can even speak, telling him her name is Shinku! Soon after she awakens, a clown doll comes crashing through the window, weilding razor-sharp playing cards and knives. It attacks Jun, and Shinku tells him he will die unless he makes a pact with her by kissing her rose ring. He reluctantly does so which causes an identical ring to appear on his finger. Shinku then uses Jun's energy to awaken some of the dolls in his room and defeats the clown doll. Then Shinku wants some tea..

----

Pretty cute show, although I am terrified of creepy life-like dolls and evil clowns, so it was a little scary for me, but I survived. The opening by ALI PROJECT was cool, and definetly fit the tone of the show. I can't get over how much of a jerk Jun is for being so mean to his poor sister. Hopefully Shinku will whip him into shape pretty soon and he'll be nicer. Oh, and the next episode introduces a cute doll that seems less creepy, so I should be ok.

Genshiken Episode 1

Basically a show about a "Society for the Study of Modern Visual Culture" club (Genshiken), and a guy, Makoto, who's a freshman in college who's wondering if he should join. He's a big fan of the anime "Kujibiki Unbalance" which is a big hit with the club as well, tho he's finding it hard to fit in until a certain incident (lol). Oh and there's a guy, Sasahara, in the club that has a kind-of girlfriend (in other words the girl thinks they're dating but the guy is clueless) and that's pretty funny too, he's definetly my favorite character of the bunch.

This show was a little boring, but I can definetly relate to it. The spying incident was pretty hilarious tho and I will probably keep watching this show, but may not keep blogging it.

--------------------

Anyways, here's the score for the season so far:

What I will keep watching and blogging...

Tsukuyomi
Uta~Kata
Mai-HiME
Nanoha
Tactics
Kannazuki no Miko (probably)
Yakitate!! Ja-pan (probably)
Gankutsuou (probably)

What I will keep watching but probably not blog and why...

Bleach - may blog once in awhile, but I don't think the art is real great or anything, and I'm watching it with my friends so it's a pain to go back thru and cap it (yes, I am lazy)
Final Approach - Just not that impressed by it, generic art, not much stuff to cap really...
School Rumble - may keep blogging it but I'm not that big of a fan of this show
Grenadier - I'm sure the caps would be repetitive, but maybe I'll keep capping, not sure yet.

Not gonna watch most likely...

W ~Wish~ - boooooring, love the opening tho

Not seen yet...
