Peach Girl Episode 3

Sae continues her attempts at turning Touji against Momo by making her think that Momo is out to hurt Sae. Momo does her best to convince Touji that Sae is a manipulative bitch, but all he can see is her outward "sweetness". Touji gets appendicitis and is hospitalized, but Sae convinces the rest of the class to not tell Momo where he is (apparently everyone thinks that Sae and Touji are dating, I wonder who started that...). Sae makes continuous visits to the hospital, and tells Touji that she invited Momo, but she didn't want to come. Finally Kairi finds out where Touji is and tells Momo, who is obviously furious at Sae...

---

Good episode, tho it's almost painful to watch. This part of the manga was just torture because of how earnestly Momo tries to convince Touji that Sae is a bad person, but he just can't see it. Just ditch him for Kairi!!! He's much better. =)

Mahou Shoujo Lyrical Nanoha Episode 10

Nanoha and Yuuno get scolded by Lindy for acting outside of her orders, but lets them off easy. She sends them back home to relax for a couple days. Meanwhile, Fate is being beaten by her mother again, and Arf finally confronts her and is thrown out of the spaceship hurtling into space. Arisa finds her and takes her home where she nurses her back to health.

Nanoha spends some time with her friends, and sees Arf at Arisa's house. She asks Arf to explain what has happened in exchange for her saving Fate from her mother. Lindy makes the new objective to arrest Fate's mother because of her illegal research on their home planet as well as attacking their ship. Nanoha is about to head back to the ship, but calls out to Fate who appears and challenges her to a "winner takes all" jewel seed battle.

Mai-HiME Episode 15

I really don't have much to say after watching this... read some of the other blogs for some good summaries (especially here). I had already accidently read most of what had happened, so I wasn't shocked or anything by it, but suffice to say it was a pretty powerful and emotional episode with quite a bit of action in it as well. I'm pretty glad this part of the series is over tho... I'm ready to move on. =)

Peach Girl Episode 2

Momo and Touji are officially going out... kinda. Momo doesn't want people at school to know they're dating (so rumors don't go around that she's a slut), so she tells Touji to keep it a secret. Of course Sae knows everything and wants to screw things up for Momo. She tells Touji that Momo will want to kiss him right away, and then makes Momo think that Touji will expect that of her right away since people see her as a slut. Sae also leads her to believe that she and Touji are dating as well (since Momo doesn't know that Sae knows about her and Touji). Since Touji has never kissed a girl, Sae tries to get him to kiss her as practice. Momo and Kairi catch them in the act, which of course pisses off Momo. Momo confronts Sae about everything and decides that Sae tricked Touji into kissing her. Later, Touji takes her to the same spot where he kissed Sae and tries to kiss Momo, but she pushes him away...

---

That Sae man, what a bi-yatch... I seriously think Momo should just give her Touji since they kinda deserve each other, and run away with Kairi (he has much more personality anyways). These people really need to talk to each other about thier issues and things would be so much more clear... oh well, I guess this show and the manga wouldn't exist were it not for the many awkward situations. I like how well this is following the manga so far, and tho the animation leaves some to be desired, it's definetly standable.

Mahou Shoujo Lyrical Nanoha Episode 9

Nanoha, Yuuno and the others on the spaceship work to collect the remaining jewel seeds. Fate discovers that the final six jewel seeds are in the ocean, and she created a electric field that will reveal them. However, this uses all of her power and by the time the jewel seeds surface, she is completely worn out.

Chrono and Lindy tell Nanoha to wait and go collect the jewel seeds once Fate either dies or runs completely out of energy. Of course, Nanoha won't let that happen, and Yuuno opens a gate for her so she can go to where Fate is. When Nanoha arrives, she lends Fate some of her power so that they can seal the jewel seeds together. Unfortuately, Fate's mom shows up and sends out a shock that hits Fate, and apparently the other ship as well. Chrono uses the chance to get 3 of the jewel seeds...

---

Another pretty exciting episiode. This show is definetly getting more and more interesting to me... I thought it was pretty cute when Yuuno got jealous of Nanoha and Chrono, and I defiently enjoy the show more with him not as a ferret. It was also pretty cute when Fate was frozen with suprise when Nanoha lent her some of her power. I'm pretty sure no one besides Arf has ever been nice to her... poor thing.

Ah! My Goddess Episode 3

Keiichi and Belldandy search for a cheap place to live, which is basically non-existant. Belldandy uses Keiichi's last remaining 2000 yen to guide them to a place where they can stay. The money flies off and leads them to a buddhist temple. The monk there has them clean and repair the place in exchange for dinner and shelter for the night. While fixing the roof, Keiichi falls and is saved by Belldandy. The monk witnesses all of this and thinks she may be an evil spirit of some kind and sits outside their room while they are sleeping. Belldandy sneaks out and calls upon her protector, Holy Bell, and the sing together to restore some of the temple grounds. The monk also sees this happening and thinks that Belldandy is "more enlightened" than he is. He decides to go off to train and study more, and leaves the temple under Keiichi and Belldandy's care.

---

This was a good episde. I liked being able to see Belldandy's Holy Bell again, since I believe she was never in the OAV, only in the movie. I'm hoping Urd will come soon and liven things up a little, even tho I am enjoying it a lot either way. =)

Uta∽Kata Episode 10

Sei is about to tell them about what's going on, but is cut short by Saya who tells him it's against the rules, and she turns him to stone. Ichika continues to starve herself, and then attempts to throw her charm into the ocean but it comes back to her. She is about to jump off the cliff into the ocean when Manatsu comes, which startles her and she falls anyway. Manatsu is about to save her, luckily, but they both almost fall to their death.

Ironically, the next day Ichika, Manatsu and Ichika's parents go to visit her grandma's grave at a shrine. We learn that her parents had a dream before they had Ichika in which Manatsu is talking to them telling them to treat her well when she visits their daughter for the summer. Ichika overhears some of what they were saying about a dream, and remembers her own dream... She then confronts Manatsu asking if she is her ally. Manatsu is not able to answer her because she is only her "guide". This causes Ichika to use another of the djinn's powers and calls on the Djinn of Darkness, which awakens the spirits of the dead, two of which are her grandmother and her dog, Shiro. Luckily, she doesn't do anything bad and turns back to normal.

Back home, Ichika slowly starts to eat again, even though she says everything tastes bitter and like sand. Sei doesn't show up for her tutoring, and she calls him, only to have Kai call her back and make up a story about where he is...

---

I can't say I enjoyed this episode as much as the last couple (evil Ichika is just more fun...), but it was still good. I'm still wondering what's really going to happen at the end, but hopefully it won't be too depressing...
